The UofL Sustainability Council’s Sustainability Roundtable is a collaborative speaker discussion series open to everything and anything relevant to sustainability science or practice. This semester, we’ll meet 11am-noon every other Friday (starting January 20th) in Life Sciences Room 135.
The Spring 2017 Sustainability Roundtable still has a few open dates available if you would like to give a brief talk regarding any sustainability topic that might lead to interdisciplinary collaboration! Students, faculty, staff, researchers, and practitioners are all encouraged to participate
Anyone with an interest in sustainability (or social-ecological resilience) is welcome to give a talk, to present their work, discuss a new idea, etc. We generally have a very productive discussion after the presentation, and this has already led to some important research collaborations, community projects, and teaching.
A schedule of the open slots is available at the link below, and you can learn more about the series on our Sustainability Scholars website.
Please contact Dr. DeCaro at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in giving at talk at one of our Roundtables!
